Welcome back, Books After Dark Lovers! It’s your boy, Mr. Steve, here with another dive into the world of online side hustles. Have you ever dreamed of earning money just by watching ads? Well, today’s experiment promises just that. Let’s see if Cashvib.com lives up to the hype.

What's the Hype About?

The concept is simple: you watch ads on a site called Cashvib.com, and you get paid. The setup is straightforward and accessible worldwide. You only need a computer, laptop, or smartphone and an internet connection, and you can do this from the comfort of your home.

I know what you’re thinking because I thought the same thing—this sounds too good to be true. So, I decided to test it out and see if this side hustle really works. Here at Books After Dark and on the Mr. Steve Official YouTube channel, we take these claims seriously and put them to the test.

Testing the Claim: Can You Really Earn $2.49 a Minute?

Before diving into the nitty-gritty, consider joining the Books After Dark family over on Facebook or subscribing to Mr. Steve on YouTube if you enjoy these investigative videos and want to continue exploring these side hustles.

Setting Up the Account

I started by setting up an account on Cashvib.com. Initially, you get a $10 bonus in your account. To earn more, you need to watch brand ads. But here’s the catch: clicking the “Complete” button to watch an ad triggers several pop-up ads before you get to the actual brand ad that counts towards your earnings.

You’ll know you’re watching a money-earning ad when you see a message saying, “Please Don’t Close This Page, Recording Your Visit,” along with a countdown timer. Only these ads contribute to your earnings.

My Experience

After navigating through a maze of pop-up ads, I was able to increase my account balance from $10 to $12.49. So, yes, I did earn $2.49 from watching ads, but it took significantly longer than a minute due to the countless pop-up ads.

The Real Deal: Can You Cash Out?

Before you rush off to start earning, there’s more to uncover. Can you actually withdraw your earnings? Or is this another empty promise? Let’s walk through the results of our Scam or Legit 5-Step Checklist to find out!

Step #1: Website Professionalism

The first red flag was the website’s inconsistent formatting and numerous spelling errors. For example, the homepage had a glaring mistake: “Get Start Your Online Job Today.” I believe they were attempting to say, “Get Started With Your Online Job Today.”

To protect my personal email from spam, I used a free Mail.com address to sign up. Additionally, navigating through pop-up ads was incredibly frustrating and felt unprofessional. I rated this step 1.5 out of 5 stars.

Step #2: Reviews & Ratings

Trustpilot.com rates Cashvib.com at 2 out of 5 stars based on 96 reviews. Most reviewers labeled it a scam, particularly pointing out the difficulty of withdrawing earnings after reaching the minimum threshold. Many reported that the earnings per ad decrease as you approach the threshold, making it increasingly time-consuming to achieve it. This step also earned 2 out of 5 stars.

Step #3: Payment Methods

Cashvib.com offers various payment methods, including PayPal, Payoneer, Western Union, Skrill, and Google Play Gift Cards. The minimum threshold for PayPal is $70, which is reasonable for many users. This step scored a solid 5 out of 5 stars.

Step #4: Company Registration

Using Scamadvisor.com, we found that Cashvib.com has a 1 out of 100 trust score. This extremely low score was a significant red flag. This step earned 1.7 out of 5 stars.

Step #5: Personal Experience

I tested the site using my temporary email. While I did earn $2.49, it wasn’t every minute. After earning $2.49, my account was locked until the next day due to a limit on the number of ads I could watch in a 24-hour period.

CashPro’s workaround suggests using disposable email addresses to create multiple accounts, bypassing the 24-hour limit. While technically feasible, I don’t advocate for this method as it feels ethically dubious. This step earned 4 out of 5 stars because I did earn some money, just not $2.49 a minute.

Final Verdict: Scam or Legit?

Our Scam or Legit 5-Step Checklist gave this online money-making opportunity a score of 14.2 out of 25, which translates to 56.8 out of 100.

So, will you be able to cash out and withdraw your earnings after reaching the minimum threshold? Now that you have all the tea, this money-making opportunity is something you’ll either pass on or need to find out for yourself. Cashvib.com, Scam or Legit? You decide.
