Welcome back, Books After Dark Lovers! If you’ve ever dreamed of making money from the comfort of your home just by watching ads, you might have stumbled upon claims that you can earn as much as $4.50 for viewing a single 7-second Google ad. That’s right—imagine pocketing up to $231 per hour, all while sipping your favorite coffee or tea in your PJs.
Sounds like a dream come true, doesn’t it?
Recently, a video on the CashPro YouTube channel caught my eye, where they touted this lucrative opportunity available globally. So, I decided to dive deep and test out these claims for myself. After all, at Books After Dark, we don’t just read or watch videos about online make money opportunities—we test them to give you the real scoop!
The Experiment
Following the steps outlined by CashPro, I signed up for Cointiply.com, where this ad-watching goldmine was supposed to be. The sign-up process was straightforward, and I even snagged a 1,000-coin bonus right off the bat—though, this only converted to $0.10.
Determined to see if I could really rake in the big bucks, I embarked on my journey through the world of PTC (Pay to Click) Ads, “rolling the faucet,” and installing apps.
Here’s what I discovered:
- Navigating the Site: Cointiply.com’s interface was a bit clunky. Although finding the “Earn Coins” tab was easy, the actual process of starting offers and understanding the limitations on gigs was anything but.
- Earning Potential: The promise of $4.50 for watching ads quickly faded as I encountered error messages, regional restrictions, and a frustrating cap on daily views. Despite the site’s claims, I was unable to watch a single ad for the promised amount.
- Additional Earning Methods: While the PTC Ads were a bust, rolling the faucet and installing mobile apps did allow me to accumulate coins—though not without their own sets of limitations and time-consuming tasks.
- Red Flags: The requirement to provide a phone number for verification and unclear policies on private information storage and/or usage raised concerns.
Scam or Legit: The Verdict
After hours of effort and navigating through a maze of tasks, the earnings were quite dismal, and the promised $4.50 per ad remained elusive. My overall experience? Disappointing and misleading. While Cointiply.com might not be a complete scam—given that you can technically earn something—the misleading advertising and poor user experience lead me to advise caution. If your time is valuable, this platform might not be the goldmine it claims to be.

Once upon a time, in a land of mystery and darkness, there was a man named Mr. Steve. He wasn't just any ordinary man, though. He founded Books After Dark, a platform for all things dark, mysterious, and self-publishing. Mr. Steve was a man of many talents. He was a contributing writer, graphic designer, and video creator. He had even ventured into the world of self-publishing, selling thousands of his books worldwide. Despite his success, Mr. Steve didn't want to keep all the secrets of self-publishing to himself. He wanted to provide education on self-publishing, affiliate marketing, and other online money-making opportunities. So thus, Books After Dark was born to help other aspiring authors and artists find success in the online world. In recent times, Mr. Steve has even delved into the world of low-content books, and he's excited to share his journey with others on the "Make Money Online with Books After Dark" YouTube channel. While he currently doesn't sell or promote his book titles through Books After Dark, who knows what the future holds? Mr. Steve is always up for a good mystery, and there's no telling what dark and mysterious tale he might come up with next.
